Interlibrary and International Interlibrary Loan Service (ILLS and IILLS)
The assistance and services related to providing literature which is relevant to the course of studies at the Charles University Faculty of Law and is not a part of the collection of the Charles University Faculty of Law Library are arranged by the library through ILLS and IILLS.
ILS and IILS are provided free of charge but the requesting person is obliged to cover fees incurred by the library on the basic of expeditures arising in connection with providing this service. Commonly these are fees set out by the supplying library, postage, etc.
Only those request accompanied with at least minimal set of information necessary to identify the publication will be handled. The request must at least include: author, title, place of publishing, publisher, year of publishing.
Time necessary to arrange for publications from other libraries within the Czech Republic varies from 3 to 6 weeks and from foreign libraries it varies from 6 weeks to 3 months.
Publications arranged through ILLS and IILLS are lent only for in-house use (Charles University Faculty Faculty of Law Library study room).
